Wow, it's been like ages since i last talk to you. It seems when nobody actually cared to listen to what im saying, at least i got you, you just keep quiet and allow me to express.

Well so far things isn't being going very well, I'm very stress with life. Although i brag that i've finish LP journey i still find it very hard to cope with real life journey, its a very hard road to go through. At times i really wish to end everything and RIP :(

It's wrong to think like that i know, but at times i just can't help it. Not only im fighting with myself to do better but i am fighting to maintain the relationship with someone i hold dear.

Does anyone ever listen that I'm very very very tired and stress? Now, because of that I've hurt someone i love a lot. :( I am sad, very sad right now the feeling is like i've commited a very big sin.

Life, sometimes I know life is tough and people keep saying once we gone through the toughness in life we will be enjoying life. I wonder when will it happen for me? Do i really have happiness? So far, what happen to me is all the hard road is this going to continue? I've tried so many things to find happiness and failed so many times as well, when will it end?

Money? I tried to do photography but end up i can't make it grow, now i'm forcing myself to do MLM, still all i got is rejection after rejection after rejection from friends and also love ones. I'm tired :(

Today/Yesterday i really committed the biggest mistake in my whole 28 years living, which is forgetting her birthday. I really don't know what has happen to me that i can forget it. And all i could say is i'm sorry :( . This got me thinking... am i really the 1 for her? Do she deserve better that someone like me? When she mention the people that remembers her birthday, it really got me thinking how useless I am. It's such a simple thing and i can forget it, i really feels like banging my head straight to the wall and let it bleed :(

I think this is what happen to long distance relationship. Feelings will be put to the test and if you can't pull through then thats the end. It really scares me when i thought of this, will i forget again? if yes then will it be the end? i really don't want i really don't want i really don't want!

I really can't think how should i continue to write, too many things has gotten my mind crowded. I think i should just stop here.

Wow, last post in this blog is May. Latest post is December, looks like its been some time since I come over here. So how has 2010 fared for me? Well to me there's lots of ups and downs, lots of first and a whole lot more =p

How should I start off?

Well finally I've graduated from my studies and obtain the degree that I've always wanted with a not so bad result too :P There's 1 person who I really must thank, the 1 person who help me through my struggles with my studies. Thanks a lot dear! Thanks for the help, the support and the encouragement !
Finally decided to go out of my comfort zone and try something new with my job. Found my first job after graduation with a new company, after 3 years with my previous company. Its really an eye opener to me, after working mainly in a technical team for 3 years and now I am in a support field which means meeting lots and lots of strangers and helping them to solve their problems.
I've sign up for world vision programme where I adopted and support a random child around the globe. My child is from China and his name is Kun Zhao. All the child are selected from 3rd world country where some of them do not have any proper food, clothes and also education.
Relationship wise.. well most of the ups and downs comes from there, we've been together for more than 2 and half year, it's really special for us to last so long. Yeah we did argue a lot, sometimes on very small things, but from that we grew a lot, learning how to tolerate on each other's weakness and rely on each other's strong points. So basically through arguments we grew :) For me personally, I've started to feel the pressure of being responsible, pressure of becoming someone she can rely on and pressure to be an adult. I've never had this kind of feeling, all i thought of is living a day like normal and let it pass without any surprise. Thats the old me, until i meet her.. looking back at it i could say wow how much time i've left behind, if i were to meet her sooner maybe it will be different :p Anyway its too late to look back at the things in the past, let it be a reminder that i must CHANGE, BE RESPONSIBLE and CARE for all the things she's done for me :D So for 2011, I'll make myself to be someone she can rely on no matter what :)
Photography wise, this is the year where I started fully on my wedding photography business, although it didn't goes so well but I'll keep a positive mindset and look forward for 2011 ^^. Looking back at how much i've grew from someone who's shy to meet up shy to take risk, I can say its all worth it. I've manage to secure my first wedding client from a total stranger although it wasn't that 100% smooth but at least I've did it! For my 2011, I'll go all out on it. Meeting up with new friends and photographers and grow my network even bigger :D

Well.. i started writing this while listening to One Republic's Good Life. To me 2010 is indeed a good life, lots of ups and downs, lots of opportunities to grow. Good Bye 2010 thanks for everything! and Hello 2011 good to see you! Lets work together to grow even more !

To let go Or Not To let go?

Honestly I'm tired, tired of everyone moving ahead of me although we started almost the same time. Tired of not getting any result after trying different ways. Everytime i comfort myself saying don't worry do your best, grab every chance you come onto, try your best to create some opportunity. I hate to lie to myself, but those words are getting harder and harder to comfort me :(

Everytime i browse my friend's result, all i can describe 'Envy' what did i did wrong? Am i really not good? I wonder sigh..

And when i think bout the future its really scary, as times goes by its getting harder and harder to achieve my goals. So should i really let go of it and go for something else?

Im confuse and equally sad as this is the 1 thing i really love doing and there's time i really think i can see myself excelling in it. So should i just let the fire burnt out and treat it as something common? Sigh.. :(

This is a very short story bout someone special in my heart. Lets call her S. S is a cute gal, she likes to argue, like to be on the winning side and also very eager to know what im doing all the time haha. You can describe her a very feisty lil gal too. At times she can be very dead serious and sometimes she can be very funny and sometimes very shy. ^^

She may read this or she may not. But right now she's having a rough time with her work and the worst thing is i couldn't help :( My dear, I'm sorry that i can't do anything to help you with the trouble you're facing. Sometimes i just feel rather useless not being able to contribute anything.

Dear, I promise you that I'll try my best to make things work for us. No matter what happen i will not give up till i get what i dreamt of which is holding your hands and hearing you saying "I do" *Blushed*

Honestly I'm quite messy right now, sigh... everything i did seems wrong.. what ever i think is correct turns out the other way :(

Take photography as an instance, I thought i found a great partner that will work together to build our profile but too bad he's more interested in his gf than photography :(.

I've ask around how to charge for an assignment and i charge according to the market price, but it seems not anyone interested with it.. then i charge cheaper but end up being 'advice' because i didn't follow the market price .. again.. sigh :(

I saw someone posted that they r looking for dealers to sell their products.. i emailed them but no replied :(

Sigh someone i felt that there's so much obstacles infront of my :( Life is hard but c'mon can't i have a break? I'm not saying i gave up but i've source for so much opportunities but till now i still haven't see any light at the end of the road.

Just my personal ranting of what's going on with me lately.. somehow i can't just keep it inside of my.. its suffocating :(

What a year~

Woah.. it's almost the end of the first quarter of 2010. Lots of ups and downs during this period. For me I finally able to secure a new job which is a totally new environment for me which means i've need to start all over again. I've no problem with starting all over again, the only thing im worried bout is did i make the wrong choice again? Did i took the wrong road again? Questions and questions has been running in my head, you see I am not really a good decision maker, sometimes i tend to be rush and misout on some points. I've made a terrible decision by not leaving my current company earlier as I've seen the way this company is heading and its not going to benefit me anyway. Due to this I've wasted 3 years without accomplishing anything. Sigh.. I am terrified. Terrified that again I've made the wrong decision :(

I guess only time will tell whether i've made the correct decision or not. But for the time being I guess by going all out i will know if i've made the correct decision or not. Do wish me luck guys!

Buffet @ G-Hotel

A few weeks ago, my company organize a team building dinner for my team. The location of the dinner is G-Hotel. It was really a wow for me when i reach the hotel's coffee house. There were numerous choices of seafood from salmons, oysters, mussels, etc. But something came in my mind, i've read from somewhere that says G-Hotel's buffet isn't that worth the money. When i first took my bite on the oysters and mussels i notice it isn't that fresh and there was no second round for me after that. There were very few choices of cooked foods and some of the foods is cold =.=" It was quite a disappointing dinner for me as i look forward for it so much. It certainly not worth paying 80-100 for that dinner luckily it wasn't me who pay for it =P. Over all i would rate the environment 9/10 and the food 6/10. Here come the photos~

Fooodddsssss Entry

So sorry for the lack of updates lately, being tied down with work, study and personal stuff. I got lots of pictures to share but with the lack of time i'll try to share whenever im free like now.

Anyway for today its gonna be another food entry. Anyone ever heard of a restaurant called 747? Yup thats the name of the restaurant 747 Cafe. Which serve variety of foods from chinese cuisine to western cuisine.

The restaurant is located in YMCA Penang and infront of of Island Hospital. It is a very old restaurant, according to Steph her dad used to come here to eat during his younger days. Here's some drooling pictures to share :D

I ordered Chicken Maryland, and when the food arrive, i was quite surprise with the portion of it. Consist of fries, pineapple, ham and sausages it was indeed very big. The chicken tasted very tasty and fresh as well.

For Steph, she ordered Fish n Chip. Sadly to say although the taste of the Fish n Chip is good the portion is very disappointing, with only 2 medium size of fish fillet it is hardly enough to fill up her stomach.

In conclusion 747 Cafe serves very nice food and with a very oldish atmosphere it will sure bring you back in time.

I wonder.. if anyone of you guys heard of Dragon-I which is located in Queensbay mall and serve the ever famous Xiao Long Pau? Well i visited its twin called Dragon-Y :D

Located at the ground floor of Suntech @ Penang Cybercity this restaurant actually open for quite sometime and this is the first time i've been there. Well nuff talking let me intro you with some shots of the dishes i took there.

This is call Hot And Spicy Abalone Ramen, trust me it is HOT and SPICY!

I forgotten what this noodle is called, it has lots of carrots, cucumber and some minced pork.

Penang Aquarium & SPCA Penang

I wonder if any penangites realize that in Penang alone there's an aquarium that display hundreds of species of fishes from fresh water to salt water fishes. Yea I am talking bout something like Aquaria KLCC or Underwater World Langkawi but in a mini size.

This aquarium is located at the most southern part of Penang island, Batu Maung. The name of the place is called Fisheries Research Institute. There is an entrance fee of RM5 for adults if you would like to visit it.

Steph and I went for a visit last weekend. It was my first time there, kinda sceptical at first but when I went inside I was rather amaze because i never thought Penang would have something like this. Although it was smaller that its big brothers the aquarium showcase quite a number of fishes such as lobsters, puffer fish, gigantic eels, 'nemo' , huge cat fish and turtles.

But sadly the place looks quite run down, mostly due to the lack of maintence of its facilities. The water looks murky and dirty, and the aquarium itself is full of algea. Even the number of turtles decrease a lot. I do hope the government will look into this and upgrade the center to attract more tourist to Penang.

Next on our trip we paid a visit to SPCA Penang. Luckily we able to reach there before it closes at 2pm. SPCA Penang is a small center located in Jelutong. It houses several dogs and cats some are rescued from the streets and some are abandon by its owners. Steph's first target is to visit the cats cage because she is very fond of cats.

Once there we are warmly greeted by the cats meowing at us. Some are willing enough to allow me to snap some photo of them =P.

We had a great time with the kitties but sadly I cannot adopt any because I've already had a dog in my house and Steph's living in an apartment. Hopefully those cute kitties able to find a new house and a loving owner.

Power Station @ Queensbay Mall

Last Sunday I manage to make it on time to shoot PowerStation(动力火车) during their promo tour in Queensbay Mall Penang. Thanks to my friend Axzel i manage to get a pass to go into the stage to shoot.

Arrive there at around 3.40pm, and damn QBM was super duper crowded, i think it was due to the school holiday at the moment. I end up circling around the parking lot for 30mins before i manage to find a spot at the roof top. Luckily by the time i reach the stage they haven't reach yet.

The first person to reach is a DJ from MY FM radio station her name is Phoebe. She then entertain the crowds with some games while waiting for the main cast to arrive. Coz it seems like Power Station is stuck in the jam.

So the show starts at around 5pm when both of the singers reach. Once they gone up to the stage everyone was crazy.. shouting here and there. Wow i can tell u they do have a lot of fans even though they didn't come out with any albums for the last 4 years.

Well the show lasted for about 1 hour where they sang 2 songs from their albums for the crowds. Then its the autograph session. There's 1 super duper fan, who bring all their albums from the first to the latest to be autograph.. he's 1 very lucky and crazy fan indeed.

Phew, it has been a very happening weekend to me. Celebrated my 1st anniversary with my dear. Although so many things happen during last weekend that could ruin everything but we manage to overcome it, i guess this is what it meant by love conquers everything *blush*.

Anyway, i surprise my dear with a very nice cupcakes by Evadis Cupcakes. Coincidentally she was hoping for a cup cake for our anniversary too ^^

Here's some photo of the cake. Evadis did an excellent job on the cakes, the design is very cute and beautiful. The chocolate cake taste great too!

Steph love the kittens a lot.. too much till she dun hv the heart to eat it.

Then i brought her to TGI Friday's QueensBay for a nice lunch. We had our first TGIF when we first started so i thought it will be great to celebrate 1 year at the same place ^^

TGIF is rather famous in Penang, not only it is quite expensive but it is also the 1 and only TGIF in the northern region. Although there's lots of people that says the foods are not nice and expensive, honestly i went there twice and i found the food is nice and are in a very BIG portion.

For our lunch we order 2 set meals consist of 1 appetizer and 1 entree(main course) for only RM29.90. It is quite cheap as its portion is alot.

Steph ordered Fried Mac & Cheese and Fish & Chips. Fried Mac & Cheese consist of cheese and pasta noodles which is fried to golden perfection, the generous amount of cheese and noodles will make anyone feel full even though its just an appertizer. While for fish and chips.. hmm need me to intro? =P

While for me, i ordered a Clam Chowder and Sizzling Chicken & Cheese. Clam chowder as its name speaks, is a clam soup with lots of veges in it. They are very generous with the clams as well. While for Sizzling Chicken & Cheese, the description is also exactly like the name. A plate of consist of 2 chicken breast meat and lots of onions and peppers and CHEESE!!!

Well..i hope the pictures didn't make ur tummy growl =p The foods tasted great! And we had a great lunch with our tummy feeling very very full! Steph didnt even finish her fries haha. For Rm29.90 i must say it is quite worth it.

Anyway i would like to dedicate this to that very special person in my life~

Vogue For Virtue Semi-Finals & Finals Part 1

After almost 1 month of preparation and hard work, it has come to the time where everyone been waiting for, the Vogue Of Virtue Fashion Show and Model Search Final Round on 25th April and 26th April respectively. The fashion show is a showcase of clothings from several shops found in Queensbay Mall, there are several celebrities that will be wearing them during the show. Among the celebrities attended are Deborah Henry, Jojo Struys, Henry Golding, Elaine Daly and Serena C.

It was a fantastic experience for me to be able to get so close with these celebrities, who will get the chance to shoot so near to people that normally appear in the TV.

QueensBay Mall Vogue For Virtue

This whole month has been a hectic and stressful month for me. I've to juggle between my studies and my new found passion, photography. This is because me and my photographer pals are sponsoring pictures to Queensbay Mall's Vogue For Virtue Model Search and Fashion Show.

We are basically the official photographer for this event. The name of our group is call MORISTEE STUDIO. It's a club consist of 9 photographers from Penang and KL.

So lets get back to the event. Since this is a 1 month event i'm struggling a lot in balancing my studies and this. There's some of the time i can't help in covering the event due to my classes which clashes with the date of the event. Luckily i have a bunch of friends that i can rely on :)

It was really a wonderful experience for us as we never had such chance to be a sponsor of such a big event. A really big thanks to Queensbay Mall for giving us the chance to be your official photographer :)

Well thats everything we took there, over all the foods are fantastic. I personally recommend the Salmon Teriyaki, Taiwanese Mantis Prawn, Crabmeat with Cheese, Scallops and the Lamb shoulder.

This is a restaurant i would love to go again because of the nice ambiance, the nice staff and the great foods. To those that wish to have a great food but unwilling to spend hundreds of ringgit, this is a place to be. The restaurant opening time is as below

Hooray, I am older by 1 year last Saturday. Thanks to those that send your wishes. Anyway, I am about to share with you lots of drooling pictures from Saturday. It was a great day indeed, my dear bought me a DIGI-CABI Drybox to keep my camera equipments. Something that i always wanted for a long time. Thanks a lot DARLING! MUAKS! For our dinner, we went to TAO Cuisine at Autocity, Juru. It is a buffet style japanese + asian restaurant. Different from normal buffet style, in TAO we need to order the foods from the menu of taking it ourself. For food wise, i can most of the foods we ordered tasted very good while some are so so only. The ambiance of the restaurant is fantastic, it has a very special japanese + asian feel in it. So less words more pictures!

Yea yea i know its already the 15th. but never the least its a day worth to blog about. ^^

My day started with gift exchange between me and my dear at the stroke of midnight.

Here's what she gave me....

The next morning i suggested that we had our dinner at Sunset Bistro in Batu Feringgi.

The place is very famous for photographers to shoot nice sunsets which i thought will be a great place to have our valentine's dinner. We reach there at about 6.30pm and the place is already crowded with tourist and locals. Fortunately we manage to ask the person in charge to set up a table for us. ^^ imaging having dinner on the beach.. romantic isn't it, except these time we are sharing the beach with a lot of people :P

We then proceed with our orders, which is Fruit Punch, Carbonara Spagetti with Turkey Ham, Grilled Seafood Platter and Margheritta Pizza. Although there were lots of customers but our orders come in just a few minutes. Thumbs up for the services. Without much waiting~~

The foods are great but the portion is rather little, the pizza also lack of cheeses as for the seafood platter i think Manhattan's seafood platter is much more satisfying. The fruit punch is awesome! Absoutelutely big!!

The price is quite reasonable for our foods the damage is around RM70. Which is quite OK coz i manage to spend a great time with my dear, looking at sunsets and gazing at the stars above us.

What more interesting is when we were having our dinner, we heard someone saying "Will You Marry Me?" to my surprise the guy next to our table is proposing his girlfriend and of coz the girl says yes ^^

On our last day at Singapore, we headed to the famous Bugis Street for some shopping. As soon as we step out of the MRT, we could see there's a lot of people walking here and there, heck its almost as busy as Orchard Road. We headed up from the underground MRT station and up to Bugis Junction. Bugis Junction is more like a big shopping mall in the center of Bugis area.

The first thing we thought when we reached there is LUNCH!! Haha, so we went food hunt inside the mall. I am quite surprise to see various of fast food restaurant in there, from the most common like KFC to some that i never heard of in Malaysia. We were spoilt with choices but we could only eat 1. So we choose a place called Fisherios Fish & Chips where I ordered Chicken and Fish while Steph order the seafood set which consist of fish, shrimp, cuttlefish, chips and a soup all for only $9.90 each. Its quite cheap in comparison to its large portion of fish and chicken.

After our lunch we headed out for SHOPPING!

I manage to get a tshirt from BOSINI for only $19 but Steph said she couldnt find anything she like there.

So we headed out of Bugis Junction and to the Bugis Street Market, which is the largest Street market in Singapore. Inside u can find almost everything from watches, clothes and foods. And best still u can bargain with the sellers inside there haha. Steph finally bought some dresses in there for a quite cheap price.

After Bugis we headed back to Chinatown for some quick shopping, before headed back to Changi International Airport heavy hearted.

Our flight suppose to take off at 730 but end up the flight being delayed till 830 >:( . Still we did enjoy ourself there and we brought back lots of sweet memories together.

Anyway thats all for my Sg trip hope i didnt make any of u fell asleep :P

Singapore Part 3

Alrite continue where i left. After Sentosa Island next is ChinaTown and area around Marina Bay.

First we headed to ChinaTown or 牛车水 in mandarin. It is more like Malaysia's Petaling Street. There, u'll see lots of shoplots selling handgifts, clothes, bags and other stuff at affortable prices.

Among the places of attraction near that area are the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. The most interesting thing bout this temple is that most of the material inside the Temple are made of GOLD! including the chamber which hold's the relic. Wow never thought Singaporeans are soo religious.

Next, we headed to a place called Singapore City Gallery. It is a 3 storey gallery which allow tourist to get a bird's eye view of Singapore without climbing up to a plane . It also showcase the history of Singapore and how it transform to a Metropolitan City today.

After a quick lunch we then headed to our next stop, Marina Bay. Our first place of visit is the famous Singapore Flyer, 1 of the largest observation wheel in the world. Too bad for us, a few days before our visit there were some technical glitch in the control room of the flyer thus grounding it from moving. So the purpose we went there is just to get our refunds :( Never the least they didnt say we cant take pictures of it.

After taking some pictures, we took a cab and headed to Suntec City, which houses the largest water fountain in the world, Fountain Of Wealth. "Legend says if a person stretch out his/her arms and touch the water, then walk around it 3 times while thinking of the things they wanted. Their wishes will come true." Well i tried it and till now nothing happens haha.

Our next destination brings us to the Esplanade which brings us 1 of Singapore most famous landmark. The Merlion

Those yellow balls at the sea are actually wish balls. This is for the New Year Countdown on December 31st. Well nothing much i can say bout the place except the beautiful view of the Sky Scapers around it.

After that Steph told me, Clarke Quay is just nearby, so we decided to drag our tiredalmostbroken leg there haha. Actually the word NEAR dont count when u need to walk almost 1 hour to get there. And without taking any dinner is really a test of our strength. Mayb we could participate in the Amazing Race next time haha.

Along the way we pass by Boat Quay. The place here is a Seafood heaven, 1 whole stretch of different seafood restaurants, u can find indian, chinese, italian and other types of cuisines there. But beware there waiter/waiteress there are very aggresive, they will try their best to promote their dishes to you. So if you walk there be firm and keep saying no thanks! haha.

After Boat Quay we finally reached Clarke Quay. Clarke Quay is where all of Singapore's night life comes alive. Lots of cute and funny pubs such as a wheelchair pub, and a hospital pub. We didnt take our dinner there coz most of the pubs are selling alcohols. After some further walking we finally found a place for dinner, and the time shows 10.30PM!!!! That's the first time i took my dinner soo late haha.

After our dinner we headed back to the MRT and went back to Boon Keng Station and call it a day. Next is the final part of my Sg Trip.. stay tune :D

One thing that I dont get bout Singapore is that their yellow line is like a saw, either the contractor they hire were drunk or they purposely do it i really dont know. One thing i know is they are damn funny haha.

Makan Makan US Pizza

Went for dinner at US Pizza with Steph and sis. It is my first time there coz most of the pizza i went to are either Pizza Hut or Domino's. The reason we went there is because Steph always says how nice and generous the toppings are. So i thought why not lets go there for dinner. Oh my dear was correct, the crust is not soo thin and not soo thick while the toppings are superbly generous. We ordered 3 dishes Garlic Breadstick, New York Wings and Aloha Deluxe Pizza.

The Breadstick is very tasty served hot and crispy. It is a twisted breadstick different from those at Pizza Hut.

Next is the New York Wings.

After that came our main course, Aloha Deluxe Pizza. It is Steph's favourite pizza, the pizza consist of chicken ham, pinapples, crab stick and onions. When the pizza arrive i wasnt expecting anything special, but once i tasted it, it totally blow my mind. The cheese is superbly generous and that is just normal toppings not double cheese. Here's the pizza that will make your mouth watery.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. Lets continue with my Singapore trip part 2.

During my trip there me and steph stayed in The Hive Backpackers, it is a hostel. 1 reason why we choose a hostel instead of hotel is because hostel is cheap, and our main purpose to Singapore is to walk around the interesting places not staying in a high class hotel.

The hostel is kinda modest, but with an air con room what more can i ask. The bathroom though is shared. Our 3 nights stay cost us only $150. Personally i would recommend this hostel to everyone, it is very clean and the staff is friendly.

We headed to Harbour Front MRT station to get our tickets to Sentosa Island. Read more bout Sentosa Island here . In Sentosa we visited The Merlion, Butterfly Farm, Underwater World, Dolphin Lagoon and Tiger Sky Tower. We oso took the famous Luge ride and a skylift.

Its New Year Eve.. its time for me to reflect my life for the past 12 months.

As i said before it has been a great 1 year, full of surprises and shock, full of sadness and happiness.

2008 2008 it has been a great 2008 for everyone. For me lots of sad and happy things happens to me.

I think the biggest shock to me is when my dad pass away. He was a great man but due to his strictness we didn't get along really well. Still he has raise me up and provided me with a place called home.

2008 has also many other surprises to me, one of it is I finally able to get the girl that I love the most to say YES! Yea its good bye to single years for me.

Lots of other things happens in 2008, but for me thats the highlight of my life. How bout yours?

2009 is gonna be a though year, the world is heading to recession lots of people gonna lose their jobs. I hope it didn't happen to me. But lets ride the storm and survive it, I'm sure there will be lots of reward awaiting for all of us.

Singapore Day 1

Finally I flew to Singapore to celebrate Christmas with Steph, its a dream come true indeed.

After almost half year planning and nervousing, we finally made it to Singapore.

FYI this is my first time boarding on a plane damn i was nervous. The feeling is great, i felt like floating in the sky when the plane took off.

We reached Changi International Airport at 2220 sharp.After walking out from the plane we headed to the Immigration Check where i get my brand new passport stamped for the first time. YAY! Then we went for our luggages, Changi is very efficient coz our luggage has already arrive by the time we are there. Very fast indeed.

Singapore really surprise me how systematic they are, everything are planned and executed nicely even the taxi service are superb. I don't need to wait long for my cab coz they have some guys directing the cab for us. All we need to do is wait at the allocated taxi stand and the person will direct u to an empty cab. The cost from Changi Airport to Orchard road only cost around $20 which to me is very reasonable. Unlike the taxi from our bolehland, singapore's taxi are metered all of them. The taxi driver even wait for us to drop our luggage to our hostel.

When we reached orchard road, the roads leading inside was super jam. We have to walk inside as the taxi driver said its impossible to go inside with car, he is very nice to drop us nearby orchard road where we only walk around 10minutes to get there.

Once there, i was facinated by the decorations there, it is really bright! According to uncle taxi, the decoration this few years are not as last time. Still, to me it is really facinating.

There was lots of foam flying around when the clock hits 12am. Me and Steph manage to get to a safe location which is directly under the ERP Signboard.

After that we headed back to our hostel to get our well deserved rest.

Gonna start my small small food blog now ... something that i've been wanting to do for some time.. but kinda lazy to do at first :P

Well lets start off with some of the foods i took over the weekend..

went to Old Town Kopitiam in Aeon Seberang Perai City Mall for lunch on friday....i ordered its famous Nasi Lemak Special, consist of anchovies a piece of spicy fried chicken, eggs and a spicy yet tasty 'sambal'. Its been 1 of my favourites everytime i went there.. the sambal is just nice to be eated with the rice and anchovies. My friend ordered the same thing and an Old Town white Coffee ice blended drink..

Then on the same mall on Sunday.. me and steph went for Leomag's waffle, i ordered the Special Waffle with Ice Cream for my dear~ she just love it soo much.. the waffle is soo crunchy and soft at the same time very nice to eat with the ice cream .

After that she suggest to bring her friends to Bukit TamBun for Dinner.. we went for the famous Ah Yan Seafood Restaurant located deep inside tambun. For the dinner we ordered quite a lot of dishes.. we ordered the Flower Crab & Meat Crab with Curry, Fried Squid, Fried Oyster with Eggs, Mix Vege, Tauhu, and Fried Scallops .. the Crab meat are very soft and tender and sweet too.. FYI crabs are Ah Yan's speciality.. go there and u will see most of the customers have crab dishes on their tables.. for the rest of the dishes.. i will give it a perfect 10 for taste and freshness. A truly recommended restaurant for seafood lovers. Btw.. their service is very fast also.. all foods are serve within 15mins ..

Here's my not soo clear direction on how to go to Ah Yan Seafood Restaurant.
1. Exit at Bukit Tambun from Juru Highway.
2. After u exited the toll u will meet with a roundabout take the right turn and go up the flyover.
3. Go straight till u meet with a 't' Junction.. take the left turn.. go straight.
4. Continue straight till u see Batu Kawan Stadium on your left..
5. At the first junction take the right turn and go straight.
6. U will meet with another roundabout.. take the left turn..
7. Go straight till the end and u will see the restaurant.

Its very easy to identify since there's no other restaurant around there. :) Enjoy!

2008 Penang Starwalk

I participated in the Penang Starwalk 2008 recently to be exact December 14th. The Penang Starwalk is an annual event it is hosted by The Star newspaper.

This is my 4th time participating in this event and i vow to participated it every year, hehe don't say that i only know how to eat.. i also likes to exercise a lot.

The walk starts at 7am and is flag off by the Yang DiPertuan Negeri of Penang. I arrive at the registration point at around 630am together with the official T-Shirts, mine has the Penang Time Square graffity at the back when i reach the registration point i was given a hair band as a sign that i've registered, there will be another hair band to be given during the half length of the walk. This to ensure that everyone follows the exact routes and no short cut has been taken.

After a tiring 1hour and 41minutes i finally reach the finish point, and those that able to finish inside the 2hours range will receive a Participation Cert and a lucky draw number which i didnt win any .. no luck sigh..

I then go inside PISA to get my free drinks and to wait for the lucky draw to start. The 1 this i dont like bout getting my free drinks is the place is super duper crowded with walkers that are sweating and smelly to make the matter worse there is some peoples that cut queues .. damn i hate those peoples...
It has been like these all the years .. never been improve at all! At least they could make each booth bigger so it can accomodate more people..

Well thats all now.. didnt cover the lucky draw event.. was super tired that time..

Jom Makan Nyonya Foods

Went for dinner at Nyonya Baba Cuisine at Nagore Road, Penang with Steph and her parents. Read here for more info bout the place. The atmosphere is really special because it felt like im entering back to the past.. due to the old style decoration and tables, minus the aircons :P

Uncle ordered 6 dishes for us all are original Nyonya foods.

All the foods are quite nice.. it really like home cook foods for me coz my mum knows how to cook these nyonya foods also :D

Final words.. food are quite OK for me, but price is a bit pricey.

Daniel Lee @ Gurney Plaza

Guess i was lucky to be lurking around there with Steph.. when we heard Daniel's name been called.

Went to ASIMO event last Saturday at Queensbay Mall. For those who dont know what is ASIMO please refer to this webby ASIMO. Briefly ASIMO a short form for Advance Step in Innovative MObility is a robot develop by HONDA after years of research.

This is the first time i set eyes on ASIMO, i've seen him on the TV but never in reality, he really is a Wonder of technology, ASIMO able to move, run like normal human being, it can also go up ladders and DANCE!!!

I really amazed at those Japanese scientist for creating such a great piece of art. This is really 1 step further to achieving a fully functioning robot like the 1 in I-ROBOT movie. Anyway enough talk.. lets see how he looks like!

Penang Bridge Marathon

Participated in Penang Bridge Marathon last Sunday,what i can say is its an event not to be missed by everyone, coz once in a year they close the whole Penang Bridge just for everyone to run/walk around, you can even sleep on the middle of the bridge since there's no car. There 3 Category with different length Full Marathon 46KM, Half Marathon 25KM, Quater Marathon&Fun Run 10KM.

This year is my first time participating, and i can say i regreted i choose half marathon instead of Fun Run. Not only that i miss out the chance to get a cert i oso missed out on the lucky draw chance T.T and 1 thing i get is freaking sore leg .. haha. But participating in the half marathon enable me to run to the middle span of the bridge which is quite fun.. the view is breathtaking.

For next year the event will be held on Nov 29, i'll definitely join again in the 10km category only hehe..

It's a full moon today, and also it's Loy Krathong day. Today is kinda special for me for something that happen 1 year ago.

1 year has pass since that day,

NCS Team Building & Annual Dinner

Went to my company's annual dinner and team building event. The location is in Paradise Sandy Beach Resort. The hotel is situated just beside the famous Toy Museum.

The event started at 2pm, where we were given some briefing and team arrangements. Me and my 2 colleagues were placed in team C2. After the briefing session we headed to the beach to began our activities, there's 4 activities which is Save the earth, the mummy, Build the tower and Dark Pathway. All 4 tested our team work as a team.

FYI my team C4 is the champion of the event muaahahaha..

After the activities finish, next is the most important part.. MAKAN!!!

The event ended around 8pm, i left at 730 because my stomach is too full to accept anymore foods.... oh noes... my 1 month/5 weeks of dieting just gone like that.. :(

Went to Balik Pulau for a photo shoot with several friends on Sunday.. went there only once in my whole life as a Penangnite.. what a shame hehe..

Anyway Sungai Burung is rather famous for a lot of landscape photographers because it has a nice view of sunset and IMO the only place that have paddy field.

Well nuff talking here's the photos i wanna share.

It's gonna be almost 2 months from now and i'll be flying to Singapore!!! Yipee!!

Hopefully JetStar not gonna delay the flight time again... very troublesome for me as i need to inform the hotel guys that the flight time has been change... haiz first time travelling on a planet and kena this kind of problem. Any finger cross for no more changes *prays*!

Journey to the East 2

It's been very long since i updated my lonely blog. Quite bz handling lots of stuff. Heck i got tons of pictures awaiting my Post Processing!.

Anyway Happy Diwali for all my Indian friends. Last week i went to Kelantan with Steph and her sis this is the first time i drove my trusty 10years+ Iswara to Kelantan, I am quite nervous at first, coz scared my car might broke down halfway, so all the way i drive carefully without speeding or anything. To my amazement its quite easy to reach Kelantan from Penang, the road are 99% straight hilly roads no junction to turn to. I just need to follow the main road and i can reach Kelantan. The journey took around 6 hours. *phew* very tiring indeed i had a sore back when i reach there.

We started our journey around 630am in the morning and reach Kota Bharu, Kelantan at around 12.30pm. We were really lucky to see an Elephant at the road side eating, no i didnt manage to snap any photos of the gentle giant, was driving and i dont wanna risk the big fella to charge into us if he notice us snapping photo of him. The highway is really smooth from Penang to Gerik it is rather new, according to Steph the highway bypass Baling Town and cut the travelling time a lot.
From Gerik i took the East Coast Expressway to Jeli, Kelantan the journey is really bumpy.. the road is not well maintained and there's pot holes everywhere. From Jeli we took Rantau Panjang road to Kota Bharu.

Some road signs that are not always on our roads. They even hv road signs for Male and Female Deers LOL!

Once there, we took lunch at a Vege Restaurant where Steph's mum work at bcoz im still on my annually Vegetarian Diet till Nov 4th. After that i took a rest at Steph's house b4 heading to Tesco with her mum to buy some groceries. Her mum is a very good cook... she make several vege dishes for me.. *drool* drooling pictures will be up later =P THANKS AUNTY!!! for the dishes.

On Sunday we went to Steph's old school, SMK Chung Hwa for a walk and some photo snapping. After that Steph's sis says she wanna go for a hair cut.. since my hair hasnt been cut for almost 2 months i join them for the hair cut also :p

Monday.. we went to Siti Katijah Market to get Fish Crackers for my friends b4 heading to the famous Pantai Cahaya Bulan a.k.a Pantai Cinta Berahi (P.C.B) what a disappointment :( the beach is full of rubbish and the water is murky.. wonder why nobody maintain it since it is among Kelantan's tourist attraction. After walking around PCB Steph and I decided to order coconut water to cool down the heat .. it was rather sunny that time. On the way back to pack our clothes we stop by a stall selling a local delicacies and Steph's favourite, AKOK. A pancake like kuih with the mixture of coconut and eggs.. very tasty and sweet :D

After our lunch at the vege's restaurant we bid Steph's mum and dad good bye b4 heading back. I drop by Rantau Panjang to get some 'originel' Jerseys and some peanuts there.. the stuff there is quite cheap mostly bcoz it is a duty free zone.

The drive back is really tiring, because of the traffic and the rain... but we did hv fun during the time there, too bad it only for 3days but seems like everyone is satisfy :)

Last Saturday and Sunday I accompany my dear to her hometown in Kelantan. We departed from Penang at 9pm SHARP! incredibly the bus do depart sharp at 9pm. Throughout the journey was very er... suffering the seats was small and hard, i hardly able to sleep well. My dear on the other hand sleep soundly like a princess.. aww she looks extremely cute when she sleeps.. and NO im not gonna post any pics of her sleeping here.

We reach Kota Bharu at around 430am. It was damn cold that night. Once we reach there, Steph called her mum to fetch us to their house. Btw very few food photo during this trip coz mostly i focus on taking landscape only :p

The next morning we went to have our breakfast at a Kopitiam nearby. We ordered Koay Tiao Th'ng, 1 thing special bout Kelantan's Koay Tiao Th'ng is that they have lots of side dishes to choose from, almost like yong tau foo type. And the taste was very nice, the soup is sweet and the fish ball is great!

After breakfast Steph's dad bring us all to the first stop, a HUGE standing statue of Buddha. I was told that there's 3 type of this huge statue of Buddha in Kelantan, the 3 are seating Buddha, standing Buddha and sleeping Buddha.

Saturday was among the tiring day of all.. after visiting the Temples, we went back to our house for a short rest b4 Steph's dad bring us for dinner. For dinner, her dad bring us to a shop where according to my dear.. hv the bestest Deep Fried Squid ever :p well she was right it was tasty. There's a lot of other dishes her dad ordered and all of them are super duper nice. Very very sorry that i didnt taken pictures that time :P Then when we got back after dinner.. her dad then brought out a few durians for 'dessert' we ate till our stomachs almost EXPLODED!

The next day, Sunday was the day for shopping, Steph mum again act as our tour guide, bring us to the town center Kota Bharu. When i was there we visited one of the most famous wet market there, 'Pasar Besar Siti Katijah' it is famous for its open air center side of the market.. where a lot of lady seller selling various type of vegetables and fishes.

I went there and buy some 'keropok' to take back to Penang. Next i went to a handicraft complex beside it to get Batik Cloths for my mum and sis. After that we went to the office of the Kelantan Sultanate.

Next we went to a few shopping complex there, i was suprise on how develop Kota Bharu is coz all the while i thought Kota Bharu is a very underdevelop place. But visiting there really change a lot in my thinking, the goverment there is doing really well in developing that state, although its slow but at least there's development going on.

When dinner time, Steph's dad again brought us to eat. This time we went to a bunglow turn restaurant for dinner. The foods there are kinda nice too and in a very huge portion. All of us end up too full to go back.. her dad bring us to a night market. The night market is very big and have lots of variety of stuff.

When we reach home.. her dad again bring out DURIANS for dessert. OMG! This time was Kelantan's special durian.. the Kunyit Durian. That durian is famous for its thick meat and small seed. Her dad also said .. there are people that come all the way from KL just to taste that durian. And again.. we ate till we almost EXPLODED! I swear that 2 days was time where i ate the most durian ever in my life. I think i hv durian phobia now.

We left for Penang on monday morning. Her dad bring us for breakfast at a kopitiam nearby. He ordered "nasi lauk" for us. According to him.. 'Nasi Lauk' is 1 of the most common food there in Kelantan.. then we head for our bus to go back home.

Overall it was a meaningful and wonderful trip back to Kelantan, i guess the most happiest person is my dear.. its been almost a year since she last go back to her hometown to meet back with her old friends. Thanks to her mum and dad for bringing me around... all i can say is they ROCK!

And last but not least.. thanks for my beloved Steph for inviting me to go back with her.

Went to this event last week with Steph n sis. Super duper crowded. There's lots of lala's there really wondering how did they got there.

It was a really great concert full with artist from Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and other countries. Among the famous ones are Micheal Wong and Fish Leong. Well we manage to get the Live Zone tickets which is located infront of the Stage, sounds nice? But by the time we got there the front row has been taken sobs T.T

Well im not gonna post any pictures yet as i havent edited any of it. But this year's concert is a bit better than last year where they organize it beside Queensbay Mall and it was raining very heavy that time. There were slight rain also on that day but luckily it was just for a while.

Yay.. its been a while since i updated here... well so much has been going on that i cant explain using words.. its just that right now since last week my world has been flying sky high, i've been feeling happy and an unspeakable amount of joy which i cant explain. Every morning was a beginning to a great day, every morning was a beginning of a wonderful day. Nothing gonna stop me now, im gonna go all out, cherishing, caring, loving the 1 very person i love the most. :)

Hmm plan to change this into a food blog.. but not sure how to start :p

The story of a kid.

This is a story bout a little boy, how he grow up, his sadness, his happiness, his ups and his downs. The chubby boy came into the world on bright Monday afternoon on 14th March 1983. He was full of energy, full of joy and full of enthusiasm to explore the big world that awaits him.

He never gave up on the things he wanted, he often disobeyed his parents words and do things he wanted to do.. but always end up with troubles, he broke his wrist, skinned his knee but that doesn't keep him down a few days of resting and he's back fighting. He wanted to try everything, riding a bike and end up on the drain, ride a big mountain bike and went crashing on the floor, all those didnt stop him, he was in the world of his world.

As he was growing up, he meet some great friends, but also he was oftenly bullied coz trusting the wrong friends. He was just too naive, believing that if he's nice to people they will return the favour. But he did meet with a lot of good friends that stick to him throughout the time. Spend happy and sad times together, they were his world, he was so happy with them coz he's glad that even though a lot saw him for his disadvantage, there's people that saw him for his quality.

But as time passes by and adulthood takes over, his friends began to shy away, began to mind their life, began to have their companion, began to spend fewer time with him. The little boy was sad, lonely, no more doing crazy things together, no more spending sad times happy times together. He began to hate adulthood, there was just too much loneliness, too much sadless to grow up, how he pray hard that he could turn back the time. But thats never gonna happen.

He then began searching for new friends, friends whom he hope will able to enjoy good times together doing crazy things. But what he found wasnt a friend but a person that makes his heart pumping hard, what is this feeling? who is this girl? he asked himself. He meet with this girl in a red shirt that he have a weird feeling for. Nobody can explain to him what is that. He take up the courage to ask the girl up for a date, the girl agree, how happy he was to hear that. As time goes by, the longer the time they spend together, the more happy the boy is. And he knows that it is love.

But to the girl, it isnt love, its just friends spending times together, the boy was so sad, so disappointed to hear that, but he told himself as long as he be himself the girl will notice that he's true to his heart, but no. Coz he was not the 1 the girl are looking for. The boy was sad, but he didnt give up, and continue to hold on to a thin line of hope. Hoping the girl will accepts him for who he is, hoping the girl will look at his good side and work with him on his disadvantages. All he can do is hope, even when the time come where he needs to go back to where he come from he has no regrets because he finally found a girl whom he really love.

What is LOVE? This is the question i've ask myself always. Me being a guy that never ever have a girlfriend b4 will never know the meaning till i experience it. What is LOVE actually? I've read lots of blogs bout LOVE, people's experience on LOVE some said LOVE is a very special feeling where nobody can tell or explain. Its a feeling where, everyday, everyhour, everyminute u can only think of that person for no reason, not because u misses the handsome/beautiful face or not because of the strong macho/ hourglass body. Its the feeling of emptyness when you are not around your loved one. No.. no reason at all. There's no reason when it comes to love. When you love a person there's no need any reason, u just felt the warmth, the comfort being with the person.

Everytime on a drama you'll see people keep asking why do you love that person. And lots of reason will come out. My thought? If anyone ask me why i love ? I would answer them, no no reason at all because love isnt judge by how a person look, how rich a person is or how they behave.

There are ppl that define LOVE is very painful, lots of broken heart, lots of suffering. But where's LOVE when nobody can survive through it. Its very common to say, there's no happiness without pain. Nothing is perfect, if there's happiness there will be sadness, thats how life goes. For me after some deep thoughts, if I were to LOVE that person so much, i will not care how tough life goes I will survive through it.

I might be talking crap, lots will disagree only some will agree. But ask yourself, what is the reason for u to fall in LOVE? and you'll see there's no strong reason to it.

A relationship is like a rubber band. The harder u pull it, it will snap, but if you were to pull and release, pull and release, the rubber band will last a long time. I've learned it the hard way. I've pull too hard without releasing it. But there's no regret.. its a learning for me so i would not repeat it.

Was soo happy today, coz im going to redang on mid of May!! its like a dream come true yippee. Gonna make sure this time i really go.. and wont end up like my Mount Kinabalu trip which being cancel coz i didnt save enough cash. Damn it.. so regret when i saw my friend's picture from KK.
So this time if for real. Gonna make sure i die die oso i'll go muahahaha.

Well what can i say? Its the best birthday i ever had. 14-03-08 is indeed a day to remember for me. Full of surprises.. joy.. laughter.. excitement.. and sincerity. Thanks a lot to all my friends for making it a day that i would remember forever.

Let me summarize what did happen. Firstly on 12-03-08 my best old buddies from secondary school. Alvin Leong, Alvin's GF Yee Wan, Yao Yang, Ming Wei took me to Old Town Kopitiam at Bukit Mertajam.. when we reach there we were greeted by a young couple having their lovey dovey time..haha. Got a very very different gift from Alvin and Yee Wan this year, it was a very super duper uber cute "Hello Kitty Lamp", a nice glass decoration from Ming Wei and a very beautiful photo album from Yao Yang. Thanks a lot guys for the treats and presents.

On the 14th.. is the most unexpected day every. Coz i never ever expect that my forum buddies will celebrate my birthday.. coz they are having another gathering on 15th. It all happen really unexpected coz i only expect i could get sum surprise from fellow Shutterasia buddies.. but Xavier surprise me by asking those from LYN Penang Thread buddies to come also. Well Xavier u really got me by surprise... something that i never ever expected i kena 'played' by them... haha had a whole face full of cake. Thanks for the presents guys.. u guys all are the greatest.. being buddies for less than a year and we grown to be so close in such a short time. *Muaks* to you all.

This year is gonna be a fun and meaningful year for me... lots of things i need to get handle.. new commitments, new goals. Im gonna go all out with the support i have around me which is you guys.

Christmas light up in Singapore..

One of the most fascinating things bout this tiny country just below Malaysia, is that during Christmas and New Year the whole country will be brighten up with wonderful neon lights. During this time around there will be lots of people heading down there just to enjoy the lighting up.

Heard new from my supervisor that they are going to upgrade the whole workstation PC inside my lab. Yippee.. finally i can say good bye to those super slow pc...
Rumours says its going to be a quite highend workstation with QUAD CORE CPU!!! 2GB RAM and 160GB HDD.. muahaha i finally can bring my favorite games there to play :p

What a wonderful day

Today is very special day indeed, me and my friends from Low Yat Dot Net Forum Xavier, Cheryl, Steph, Calvin and 2kia went for a day outing in Ipoh. We started our day meeting at my house at 6am before departing to Ipoh. Reached there at around 830am we start our first event... DIM SUM!!!
This is the place where Cheryl brought us to.
The DIM SUM there is very nice and also expensive.

After breakfast we then proceed to visit some of the cave temples which Ipoh is famous for. There are a lot of beautiful limestone caves which is home to several Buddhist Temple. The first temple we visited is Kek Lok Tong. Its a very big limestone cave that i've visited.

The inner part of the cave is very huge and the limestone formation is also very beautiful. Imagine it took million of years for the stones to be shaped.

The interesting part bout this cave is that there's a very huge landscape just after u walk to the end of the cave.

The center of the garden is a big pond fill with fishes and tortoises. And also lotus plant. I finally manage to make used of my cam's macro mode and take a few shots of lotus.

Well i wont go and cover all the caves we went to it gonna take forever and im a bit lazy :p
According to Cheryl Ipoh people don't go to those caves coz they think that its very normal only. Yala.. if anyone ask me to go to Kek Lok Si in Penang i will give the same answer hehe.

Well after visiting the caves we went to Kopitiam and a biscuit shop to get some 'Heong Peah' , Chicken Biscuit.

We then head to Cheryl's house for a rest before go to have some quick food at a nearby stall where it sell Fried Yong Tau Foo. Yup fried not cooked.

At last we went to our final place of visit which is "The Lost World of Tambun" thank god indeed coz it wasnt hot that day instead its raining a bit but who cares we gonna get wet anyway :p

Its was soooooo packed with people even the floats are sold out. And to get into the ride take like forever wanted to line up. Yeah we come at the wrong time. Its Saturday and i notice there's a lot of company organizing their family day. Stephanie was the happiest, coz that day finally her dream of going to a water park bcome real :p

We all have a splashing great time there although there was full of people it didnt wipe our spirit to have fun. Watch a Tiger show those big kitties are cute but i dont want them as pet lol. Stephanie and I went for 2 ride the first i almost make her face bcome pancake when my feet clamp her face. Sorry bout that dear :p treat u lecka lecka next time hehe.

Well we have fun in the rain in the park for almost 3 hours b4 packing and heading home. Cheryl didnt follow us back coz she wanna go back her house.

Our plan b4 really heading home was to go to Serdang, Kedah for a char moi (fried porridge) as our dinner. I say... the journey to that place is very scary especially at night coz the road dont have even a single light. But when we reach there and ate the food it was worth all the trouble. The porridge was soo nice... we even order chui keh(FROG!!), fried egg, and a fish.. some of the foods i duno wad its called :p

Well the event was officially ended after the dinner at serdang. We reach back at my place and everyone parted to their cars and went home.

It was a wonderful day for me coz its the first time i went out so far with a bunch of great friends whom i known for just a few months from LYN forum. Hopefully i'll get more events so i can post it here to share it out.
